Rotary Club of Patong Beach Tsunami Relief Trip Report

Project: Baan Pak Triam Drinking Water System, Kuraburi, Phang Nga Province

The purpose of this Tsunami Relief trip was to check up on all Rotary Club of Patong Beach projects in the Kuraburi area in general and specifically check on the Baan Pak Triam Drinking Water System.

Background: As part of our rehabilitation of the entire Baan Pak Triam community following the December 26^th 2004 Tsunami, we budgeted for a drinking water system which was installed earlier this year by Environmental Solutions & Protection Corporation, Ltd. out of Phuket. This system has now been functioning and the contracted out training on the long term maintenance of the system is completed. It now has been officially turned over to Baan Pak Triam by the contractor with their final training recently taking place.
