On behalf of the Rotary Club of Patong Beach, I would like to congratulate the incoming Presidents of the other five Rotary Clubs in Phuket. Rotary is and has been the organization that brings us together to "Serve the Community". I am honored and proud to serve as the President for the 2011-2012 Rotary year.

My history with Rotary began from RYLA in Chiangmai, then Rotary Youth Exchange Program (YE) to the USA set in motion by my beloved Rotarian aunt, then moved on to Rotaract in two universities and now after five years of being a Rotarian, my next and biggest yet welcoming challenge is Rotary Club's presidency.

The goals this year are simply continuing the ongoing RCoPB's great projects, bringing the club and members who are mostly expatriates closer to the other Thai Clubs and their Rotarians, initiating new and sustainable projects in the neighborhoods closer to our home base, and playing host to the historic R.I. Convention in Bangkok.

I also hope to take advantage of our Club's strength in raising funds from Rotary clubs overseas to support worthy projects by the Thai Rotary Clubs in our district.

A big thank to all our outgoing Presidents, especially President Mark Pendlebury of RCoPB, for their leadership and dedication to Rotary in the past year. We appreciate your hard work.

Lastly, I thanks my wife and our two sons for their never ending encouragement and understanding.
