“Operation Cookie”

Organized by the owner and fellow Rtn. Woody Leonhard, the idea was to distribute cookies to the hospitals but it's pretty obvious that the appropriate time has come and gone.

At the Patong Hospital they've put away most of the emergency tents. Only a few people are hanging out. Most of the donated goods were being taken away by military personnel – most likely to be sent to Phang Nga or other places that really need it.

Anyway, we're shelving the plans for “Operation Cookie” – and hoping that we'll find a different way to kick off Rotary Interact soon.

A Relief Day at the Bakery is organized for this Sunday and the Operation Cookies will be moved to other hospitals on Phuket or Phang Nga.
