Tuesday, March 15, 2005: Presentation of the first cheque for the Educational Benefits or Scholarships to the children of the “Pipoon Sawadee School” in Phuket Town at 11am today on behalf or The Rotary Club of Patong Beach.

The cheque covers benefits that were awarded to these children at the last Board meeting of the club. These benefits were also extended to the Seaton and Srivichiaia family and they also attended the handover today. Dr Suparluk was unavailable but the school principle received the cheque with some of Dr Supalucks staff. Unfortunatly 4 of the children we in the middle of exams and were not available of todays handover. 

This cheque covers the schooling costs for these 15 children for one year – further payments have been planned for the life of these children’s schooling years.
